What will the Cost Accountant role involve?
Managing cost accounting processes, ensuring accuracy and compliance across different stock categoriesConducting stock reconciliations, analysing trends, and investigating discrepancies to uphold data integrityPartnering with operational teams to optimise inventory valuation and control proceduresSupporting reporting, forecasting, and month-end closing activities related to inventoryContributing to continuous improvement initiatives aimed at enhancing inventory accuracy and efficiency Suitable Candidate for the Cost Accountant vacancy:
Experience in a manufacturing, inventory with a detailed understanding of cost accounting and WIP managementStrong analytical skills with advanced Excel proficiency and experience with ERP systems, ideally Business CentralA professional qualification such as ACCA, CIMA, ACA, or relevant experienceConfident communicator with outstanding relationship-building abilitiesDemonstrates a proactive approach towards process improvements and problem solving Additional benefits and information for the role of Cost Accountant:
