I'm currently working with a leading organisation within the National Security space who are looking for an experienced Non-Functional Tester to join an established technical team in Cheltenham.

As a Non-Functional Tester, you'll be responsible for planning and executing testing across areas including performance, scalability, reliability and resilience, helping to ensure systems can operate effectively under demanding conditions.
You'll work closely with developers, test engineers and wider technical teams to identify performance issues, analyse results and provide recommendations for improvement.
KEY REQUIREMENTS
Active eDV ClearanceStrong commercial experience in Non-Functional TestingExperience with Performance and Load TestingExperience testing scalability, resilience and reliabilityExperience analysing system performance and identifying bottlenecksExperience with performance testing tools such as JMeter, Gatling, LoadRunner or similarStrong understanding of APIs, distributed systems and microservicesExperience working with Linux/Unix environmentsExperience with scripting/programming, ideally Python, Java or similarFamiliarity with CI/CD pipelines and automated testingStrong understanding of test planning, execution and reportingExperience working within complex, security-focused technical environments This is a long-term opportunity to work on a National Security project, with an initial 12-month contract that is expected to roll on.
