Sports Lecturer
Location: North LondonJob Type: Part-time (Mondays, Thursdays, and Fridays)Salary: £30 - £40 per hour (Umbrella) We are seeking a dynamic Sports Lecturer to join a Further Education college in North London. This role involves both theoretical and practical aspects of sports education. The position is available for an immediate start and will continue until December.
Day-to-day of the role:
Deliver engaging lectures and practical sessions in sports theory and practice.Prepare lesson plans and educational materials that meet curriculum standards.Assess and evaluate students' progress in both theoretical knowledge and practical skills.Maintain a positive and stimulating learning environment that supports student learning.Collaborate with other faculty members to enhance the delivery of the sports curriculum.Manage classroom and sports equipment, ensuring all resources are available for each session. Required Skills & Qualifications:
Degree in Sports Science or a related field.Previous teaching experience in a further education setting.Strong understanding of both theoretical and practical aspects of sports education.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Ability to engage and inspire students of diverse backgrounds and abilities.Commitment to professional development and staying updated with the latest trends in sports education.
