SEND Teaching Assistant - Prestwich | M25
Tradewind Recruitment are currently recruiting for a caring, patient and adaptable SEND Teaching Assistant to join an inclusive primary school in Prestwich, M25.
The school is seeking someone who can support pupils with additional needs while also contributing positively to the wider classroom environment.
Key responsibilities:
Providing 1:1 and small-group supportSupporting pupils with additional needsHelping children access the curriculumSupporting communication and social developmentEncouraging independence and confidenceReinforcing positive behaviourSupporting literacy and numeracy activitiesWorking alongside the class teacher and SEN teamHelping implement individual support strategiesContributing to an inclusive and positive classroom environment The successful candidate will:
Have a relevant Teaching Assistant, SEN, Education, Childcare or similar qualification ORHave at least 6 months' experience working with children in the UK, professionally or voluntarilyHave a genuine passion for inclusionBe patient, calm and resilientBe confident supporting children with additional needsHave excellent communication skillsBe reliable and professionalUnderstand safeguarding and professional boundaries What Tradewind Recruitment can offer:
