We pride ourselves on delivering a professional, dependable service to our customers and are looking for experienced drivers to join our expanding Transport Team.
The Role We are currently looking for experienced Dustcart Drivers to join our team in Deptford.
This is an excellent opportunity for an HGV Class 2 driver who has experience within the waste management industry and is familiar with working across London and the South-East.
You will be responsible for safely and efficiently completing commercial waste and recycling collections, while providing a professional service to our customers.
Key Responsibilities Operate Dustcart vehicles to collect commercial waste and recycling from business premises across London and KentComplete daily collections safely, efficiently and in accordance with scheduled routesCarry out daily vehicle checks and ensure the vehicle is maintained in a clean and safe conditionComply with all relevant road safety regulations, transport legislation and company proceduresComplete all required paperwork and electronic records accuratelyReport vehicle defects, incidents or operational issues promptlyMaintain a professional and courteous approach when dealing with customers and members of the publicWork closely with the Transport Team and other drivers to ensure collections are completed efficientlyFollow all company Health & Safety and environmental procedures What We’re Looking For Valid HGV Category C LicenceNo more than 6 penalty points and no disqualifications within the last 10 yearsValid Driver CPCPrevious Dustcart or commercial waste collection experience is highly desirableGood knowledge of London and the South-East would be an advantageStrong communication and teamwork skillsA professional and positive attitudeReliable, punctual and safety-consciousWillingness to undertake any additional training required What We Offer Salary of up to £50,000 per annum, depending on experienceOvertime opportunitiesPerformance-based bonus schemeFull-time, permanent employmentStable employment with an established and reputable local companyOpportunities for additional training and developmentSupportive Transport TeamRegular and consistent work Apply Now If you're an experienced HGV Class 2 / Dustcart Driver looking for a stable position with a well-established waste management company, we'd love to hear from you.
