We are hiring Counterbalance Drivers with double handler experience in Wakefield! (mandatory)
Our client manufactures, distributes, sells and markets some of the world's strongest brands in non-alcoholic beverages. It is a leading Western European marketer, distributor, and producer of bottles and cans of non-alcoholic refreshment.
Job title: Forklift driver Job type: Temporary - Ongoing Location: Wakefield, WF2 0XR Pay rate: £14.92/ hour, going up to £16.58/ hour after 12 weeks Shift pattern: 3 on 3 off Shift timings: 07:00 - 19:00 or 19:00 - 07:00 (Must be flexible adhering to business requirements) Start date: Immediate
Full training will be provided.
The eligible candidate must have minimum 6 months experience as a FLT counterbalance driver and an in-date license.
Key Responsibilities:
To operate powered industrial trucks to load and unload materials and deliveries, and move them to and from storage areas.Previous experience using double pallet/load handlersLocating and moving pallets of stock and loading trucks ready for client deliveryMaintaining safety and housekeeping standards at all timesReporting on any damages to stock or the vehicleKeep appropriate records and reports to maintain tight inventory control and security.Working safely and on time to achieve productivity targetsMoving finished goods around the warehouse using SAPMaintain a clean, neat, and orderly work area. Assist in maintaining the security of the warehouse.
