Electrical Assembly Technician Location: Beccles, Suffolk Pay: £16.68 per hour + regular overtime available at enhanced rates Contract: Full-Time, Temporary (up to 6 months)
Hales Group are recruiting for an Electrical Assembly Technician on behalf of a well-established engineering manufacturer in Beccles.
This is an excellent opportunity to join a highly skilled team building bespoke automation and specialist machinery. Working from electrical schematics and technical drawings, you'll be involved in the assembly, wiring, testing and fault finding of electrical and pneumatic systems.
Key Responsibilities Electrical assembly and wiring of machinery and control systemsInstalling and connecting electrical and pneumatic componentsReading and interpreting technical drawings and wiring schematicsPanel wiring, cable routing and termination workTesting, inspection and pre-commissioning checksFault finding and rectification of electrical and pneumatic systemsSupporting machine installation and commissioning activities when requiredWorking to quality, safety and production standards What We're Looking For Previous experience within Electrical Assembly, Electrical Fitting, Panel Wiring, Machine Wiring or a similar roleAbility to read and interpret electrical schematics and technical drawingsExperience using electrical testing equipment and hand toolsGood understanding of electrical safety proceduresStrong attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem solvingAbility to work independently and as part of a team Why work through Hales Group?
