The Role - English Teacher As an English Teacher, your responsibilities will include:
Planning and delivering engaging English lessons across KS3 and KS4.
Teaching English Language and English Literature in line with the national curriculum.
Assessing students' work and providing constructive feedback to support progress.
Preparing students for GCSE examinations and helping them achieve their target grades.
Maintaining effective classroom management and creating a positive learning environment.
Inspiring students to develop their reading, writing, speaking and analytical skills.
The Ideal Candidate The successful English Teacher will have:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification.
Experience teaching English at secondary school level.
Strong subject knowledge in English Language and English Literature.
Excellent classroom management and communication skills.
A passion for education and the ability to motivate and engage students.
The ability to create an inclusive and supportive classroom environment.
