We are currently seeking a Band 8a Oncology Pharmacist to join a busy and supportive hospital pharmacy team in beautiful North Wales.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a pharmacist with strong oncology experience to make an immediate impact within a specialist clinical environment, while enjoying the opportunity to work in one of the most stunning parts of the UK.
The Role As a Band 8a Oncology Pharmacist, you will play a key role in delivering a high-quality clinical pharmacy service to patients receiving systemic anti-cancer treatment.
Your responsibilities will include:
Providing specialist clinical pharmacy input across oncology/haematology servicesReviewing and clinically screening chemotherapy and systemic anti-cancer therapy prescriptionsSupporting the safe and effective use of medicinesWorking closely with consultants, nurses and the wider multidisciplinary teamProviding specialist medicines advice to healthcare professionals and patientsSupporting governance, medicines optimisation and patient safetyContributing to the development and delivery of the oncology pharmacy service ? GPhC registrationSignificant hospital pharmacy experienceStrong oncology/haematology pharmacy experienceExperience working at Band 8a level or equivalentExcellent clinical and communication skillsThe ability to work confidently as part of a multidisciplinary teamA commitment to delivering safe, patient-centred care Why North Wales?
