AR Manager responsibilities:
Manage and mentor the Accounts Receivable function, ensuring priorities are effectively coordinated and team objectives are consistently achievedTake ownership of the invoicing cycle, ensuring billing is processed accurately, efficiently, and in line with agreed customer arrangementsAdminister contractual billing changes, including renewals, pricing reviews, account amendments, credits, and terminationsAssess customer agreements and commercial documentation to ensure billing accuracy, correct revenue recognition, and adherence to agreed termsOversee sales ledger activities, including reconciliations, cash posting, payment processing, and investigation of account discrepanciesWork collaboratively with key stakeholders to resolve invoice-related issues and improve cash conversionIdentify opportunities to enhance processes, strengthen controls, and improve the overall efficiency of billing and receivables operationsLead month-end accounts receivable activities, ensuring reconciliations, controls, and reporting are completed within agreed deadlinesEnsure all activities are carried out in line with internal procedures, financial regulations, and best practice standards, while supporting wider finance initiatives when requiredOther ad hoc tasks as required
Profile
A successful AR Manager should have:
Previous experience within Accounts Receivable, Billing, Revenue Operations, or Sales LedgerProven ability to lead, develop, and motivate finance teamsStrong analytical skillsExcellent attention to detailConfident using ERP, finance, and CRM systemsStrong communication and stakeholder management skillsHighly organised and proactive, with the ability to manage competing prioritiesSolid understanding of core financial controls, reconciliations, and accounts receivable Job Offer
