Job SummaryYou will serve as a Program Analyst of COMMANDER NAVY REGION HAWAII. A post allowance amount, (otherwise known as: COLA), of 8.64% will be added to the stated salary. QualificationsYour resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Provides Operations Directorate management support services in the areas of program cost analysis, annual/multi-year/long range fiscal planning and development of annual execution plans; 2) Develop accurate and cost effective budget plans to support current and future financial operations; 3) Oversees the Government Purchase Card Program execution within the Directorate and approves purchasing decisions based on need and availability of funds; 4) Reviews required travel documents, including authorizations and vouchers for payment to ensure compliance with travel regulations, policies, and procedures; 5) Conducts studies of employee/ organizational effectiveness, efficiency, productivity and cost, and recommends changes to improve organization, staffing, work methods, and procedures; and 6) Responsible for the coordination of special projects, which include coordinating actions, extracting and consolidating supporting data, clarifying responsibilities and timelines for completion. Major DutiesYou will provide programming planning, assessment, coordination, and advisory services on a wide variety of complex, interrelated issues.You will identify actual, potential, or perceived opportunities within the directorate processes and/or coordinate and assist in the implementation of process improvements.You will lead program and management analysis support for issues, data calls, and coordinated responses spanning the program areas.
