About this role
To select players who can ultimately achieve at the top level of sport. Working closely with external partners including: Major Associations, Cricket Players Association, and Universities – the Selector Manager will create a unique system to identify, select, engage and measure top quality players who are able to achieve consistent optimal performance.
Proven experience and success in a similar general sports management role with at least 5-7 years cricket experience Proven leadership ability with results that demonstrate the capability to build high performing teams and create a positive organisational culture Strong managerial, organizational and administrative skills including the ability to prepare reports, and provide feedback concerning selection and non selection An understanding and appreciation of the game of cricket Knowledge of the structure and operations of cricket An intimate knowledge of sporting program development and tour/team management Knowledge of any associated regulations, policies and practices required for the position
Self-motivation and drive for result
Proficiency with Powerpoint and Excel.
