Purpose of Position:
The primary purpose of this position is to support interns and volunteers through their term. The supervisor will be expected to do the following:

Supervise the orientation of the volunteerSupervise and support the volunteer's learning processSupervise and assess the volunteer's performanceAssist interns and volunteers in developing and achieving personal learning objectivesOffer feedback to the interns and volunteers on a regular basisMonitor interns and volunteersComplete weekly formal written evaluations and email Executive DirectorManage interns and volunteersWeekly meetings with interns and volunteers
Occupation and Moreover: As an internship and volunteer supervisor your task is to introduce, accompany and coach the volunteers in their work area. The positive evolution of these roles depends very much on your support you play a key role in the effectiveness of the process.
Qualifications Required:
Demonstration of experience with standard Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, Powerpoint, and OutlookSolid written and verbal communication skillsAbility to interact professionally on all levels: staff, board, interns, and volunteerCareful attention to detail and organizationAbility to prioritize and manage competing requestCollege graduate or in a Master's program All your information will be kept confidential according to EEO guidelines.
