About this role
This position drives a HFH truck to pick up and deliver donated goods.
Use Vonigo software to properly record data acquired while out picking up merchandise.Lifting and moving large items such as furniture, appliances, boxes, pallets, and other goods into the truck and unloading the items.Communicating with ReStore Manager regarding deliveries.Drive company vehicles to pick-up and deliver merchandise.Clear out Donation Processing area.Other duties as assigned.Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
Ability to lift to 50 poundsAbility to spend most of the day in a truckAbility to work in a warehouseAbility to maintain an effective working relationship with ReStore staff, customers, and othersAbility to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environmentKnowledge of warehouse operationsExcellent communication skillsPossess self-starter and customer service skillsThis Position is Non-Exempt. Drivers are expected to work 40 hours a week. The position starts at $18.00 per hour.
Qualifications
High School Diploma or EquivalentMust have a valid driver’s license for a minimum of 3 years, clean motor vehicle driving record, and must maintain a good driving record while employed (Specific guidelines based on Habitat Insurance requirements)Complete pre-hire required checks (Criminal Background, License, etc.)Authorization to work in the USPass a DOT Medical Card/Certification All your information will be kept confidential according to EEO guidelines.
