We're looking for a Payroll Officer on a 12-month contract to support payroll for our managed-service franchisees. You'll own the pay-run cycle from timecard checks through to STP lodgement, working in a fast-paced multi-site environment with an outsourced payroll model.
What You'll Do
Review timecards and exceptions daily, validate the pay file and make sure everything is approved before Monday integrationRun the fortnightly and off-cycle pay runs, process adjustments, and close the run and lodge STP with the ATO on timeProcess Workday actions for new starters, variations and terminations, and reconcile them to the payroll systemPrepare payroll, month-end and superannuation reports for corporate restaurants and franchiseesManage the payroll inbox, responding to enquiries within 24 hoursSupport operations teams and franchisees with timecard, set-up and pay queriesManage workers' compensation paperwork and track wage cost recoveriesCreate and maintain payroll processing documentationWhat You'll Bring
