About this role
Responsible for preparing and analyzing financial data to produce accurate and timely financial reports according to the principles of IFRS.
Essential Functions:
Reconcile and record weekly payroll transactions and related month-end journal entries.Reconcile and analyze monthly sales tax activities to support compliance processes.Assist with submission of required financial reporting to the parent company.Participate in the improvement of assigned accounting processes and procedures.Assist with related audits and preparation of audit schedules and requests from auditors.Perform other job duties as assigned by the supervisor. Required Skills:
B.S. Degree, or equivalent, from a four-year college or technical schoolMinimum of 2 years accounting experience Proficiency with Microsoft Excel or Google SheetsStrong interpersonal and communication skillsGood organizational skills to ensure timely goal completion and accurate reportingPreferred Skills:
Knowledge of IFRS, applicable laws, and regulationsExperience with VertexPhysical Demands:
Regularly required to sit, stand; use hands and fingers, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls; and reach with hands and arms. Regularly required to talk and hear. Seldom lift and/or move up to 30 pounds.
