Greencross Vets Narellan and Campbelltown are looking for a qualified Veterinary Nurse to join our team in a part-time capacity.

About the Role
This is a part-time Veterinary Nurse position working across both Greencross Narellan and Campbelltown.
You'll enjoy a varied role that allows you to utilise your nursing skills across a broad range of medical, surgical, and hospital cases.
We are ideally looking to appoint one or two nurses, depending on candidate availability and experience. Across the two clinics, we can offer anywhere between approximately 18 and 38 hours per week, providing flexibility to accommodate the right applicants. Whether you're seeking a smaller part-time opportunity or something closer to full-time hours, we'd love to hear from you.
Your responsibilities will include:
Assisting veterinarians during consultations, treatments, and proceduresSurgical preparation and theatre assistanceMonitoring anaesthesia and supporting post-operative recoveryAdministering medications and treatmentsCollecting samples and performing diagnostic testingProviding nursing care for hospitalised patientsMaintaining patient records and treatment plansSupporting emergency and urgent care cases when requiredMaintaining high standards of cleanliness and infection controlProviding exceptional client communication and educationSupporting reception and administrative duties when requiredAssisting with the smooth day-to-day operation of both clinicsNo two days are the same, making this an ideal role for someone who enjoys variety and being part of a busy, supportive team.
About You
We're looking for someone who:
Holds a Certificate IV in Veterinary Nursing (or equivalent qualification)Has previous clinical veterinary nursing experienceIs confident with both medical and surgical nursing dutiesDemonstrates excellent animal handling skillsHas strong communication and customer service abilitiesEnjoys working both independently and as part of a teamIs organised, reliable, and professionalBrings a positive, team-focused attitudeIs passionate about patient care and client experienceMost importantly, you're someone who enjoys supporting your team, advocating for your patients, and contributing to a positive clinic culture.
