Greencross Vets Joondalup is a rapidly growing clinic, and we're looking for an Experienced Veterinary Nurse to join our amazing team on a full-time basis.
We currently have a close-knit team of 5 Veterinary Nurses, 3 Receptionists/Animal Attendants, and a dedicated group of Veterinarians, all working together to provide exceptional care to our patients and outstanding service to our clients.

This is a full-time nursing position where you'll be able to utilise your skills across a diverse and rewarding caseload.
Whether your passion lies in surgical nursing, medical nursing, patient care, nurse consulting, or client communication, you'll have the opportunity to be involved in all aspects of veterinary nursing.
Your responsibilities will include:
Undertaking general nursing duties, including pre- and post-operative careAssisting veterinarians during consultations, treatments, and proceduresMonitoring anaesthesia and supporting patient recoverySupporting pathology and diagnostic proceduresMedical and hospital nursingNurse consulting and team-based patient careAssisting with emergency and critical care cases when requiredProviding exceptional client communication and educationSupporting reception and administrative duties where requiredMaintaining high standards of hygiene and infection control throughout the clinicWe perform a wide variety of procedures, ranging from routine surgeries through to ophthalmic, soft tissue, and advanced orthopaedic procedures, providing excellent opportunities to continue developing your skills.
About You
We're looking for someone who is passionate, committed, and eager to continue developing their knowledge and skills within a supportive environment.
You'll bring:
Certificate IV in Veterinary Nursing (or equivalent)3+ years of clinical veterinary nursing experienceA strong understanding of veterinary nursing proceduresConfidence across both medical and surgical nursingExcellent communication and customer service skillsExperience mentoring or supporting junior nurses (highly regarded)A positive, team-focused attitudeStrong organisational skills and attention to detailExperience with RxWorks (preferred but not essential)Most importantly, you're someone who enjoys being part of a collaborative team and is committed to delivering exceptional patient and client care.
