Our hospital manages a broad and complex referral caseload, for a Head Nurse, this means an opportunity to lead a highly skilled team while continuing to develop your own clinical expertise.
Your New Role:
As the Head Nurse you have a shared responsibility of administration and management of the ECC nursing team. In this role you will find the perfect blend of both clinical and administration responsibilities, allowing you to make a lasting impact on both patient care and overall operations.
Your daily tasks will involve team development, liaising with intra and inter-departmental team members, upholding high standards of care, drive team development and participation in all aspects of workflow in a supportive environment.
You will;
Lead by example and provide strong clinical leadership on the floorSupport and mentor our nursing team, helping individuals grow their skills and confidenceSupport exceptional patient care across complex emergency and critical care casesHelp drive clinical standards, operational excellence, and continuous improvementFoster a positive, supportive, and collaborative workplace cultureContribute to education, training, and professional development within the nursing teamWho we are looking for:
Cert IV or aboveIs an experienced and highly capable veterinary nurseHas a strong background in emergency and/or critical care nursingLeads by example and inspires those around themEnjoys mentoring, coaching, and developing othersIs confident working in a fast-paced and complex emergency environmentEmbraces continuous learning and improvementCommunicates with authenticity, compassion, and confidenceHow we will support you:
