About this role
We are seeking a highly skilled Civil 3D Modeler/BIM Engineer specializing in Dry & Wet Utilities to join our team in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. In this role, you will be responsible for creating detailed 3D models and implementing Building Information Modeling (BIM) practices for various civil engineering projects, with a focus on utility systems.
Develop and maintain accurate 3D models of dry and wet utility systems using Autodesk Civil 3D and other BIM toolsCollaborate with project teams to ensure efficient integration of utility designs into overall project modelsAnalyze and optimize utility layouts to improve project efficiency and reduce conflictsCreate detailed documentation and drawings for construction and stakeholder reviewImplement BIM standards and best practices throughout the project lifecycleCoordinate with other disciplines to resolve design conflicts and ensure project coherencePerform quality control checks on 3D models and associated documentationStay updated on the latest advancements in Civil 3D, BIM, and utility design technologiesProvide technical support and guidance to junior team members on modeling and BIM practicesParticipate in client meetings to present utility designs and address technical queries Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related fieldMinimum 3-5 years of experience in civil engineering or related field, with a focus on utility design and modelingAdvanced proficiency in Autodesk Civil 3D and AutoCADExtensive experience with Building Information Modeling (BIM) in civil engineering projectsIn-depth knowledge of dry and wet utility systems and civil infrastructure designStrong 3D modeling skills and ability to create detailed, accurate modelsFamiliarity with GIS software and its integration with BIM workflowsExcellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detailAbility to work efficiently and manage multiple projects simultaneouslyStrong communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teamsAutodesk Civil 3D certification is preferredExperience working on projects in the Middle East is a plus Ability to work using modeling software’s such as ( Revit , AutoCAD , Plant 3D )Ability to use clash detection software’s such as NavisworksHave strong engineering background in both mechanical and electrical fieldHave fair knowledge on the MEP & HVAC system components and usesAbility to use Microsoft office applicationsCompliance with policies and procedures based on the ISO standards adopted by CNS.
