Develops a wide variety of job opportunities for customersEstablishes rapport with area businessesRepresents our organization at networking events, job fairs, and community meetingsProactively generates opportunities through community outreach and business engagementProvide business services related to labor market information, training needs and retentionWorks with businesses to identify job openings, alternative work activities, and training initiativesAssists employers in recruiting, interviewing, and hiring qualified applicants that include postings in the systemMaintains a current listing of local job opportunitiesKeeps project staff apprised of local business needs and job placement opportunitiesWorks with case management staff to facilitate job placementsPerforms follow-up of graduates from training, Opportunity Center Readiness, and other related trainingMaintains follow-up contact with employers to determine satisfaction with services and plan for quality improvementConduct information session for continued and active employer engagementRefer job seekers to quality matched job vacancies via all systems and other employment sourcesConduct follow-up with job seekers via phone contact, email, letter and schedule appointmentsMaintain this follow up in all systems, Google Docs, Manage and coordinate on-site recruiting eventsDevelop and provide accurate reportingConduct group orientation and workshops for participants and provide a positive introduction to the job search and readiness programMaintain an active readily available job ready pool of candidatesEffectively manage industry sector assignmentsOther related assignments Willing to actively pursue partnerships to drive results and reach contractual goals.Demonstrated customer service skills.Familiarity with the communities being served, with knowledge and understanding of local needs and resourceDemonstrated knowledge of labor market trendsDemonstrated computer skills, with experience using word processing and spreadsheet software programsMust be able to interact cordially and productively with a variety of peopleExcellent written and verbal communication skillsMust establish and maintain effective working relationships with, and among, all personnel - Must support the mission of the CompanyMust be able to work occasionally long or extended hours, including weekendsMust maintain the confidentiality of all information housed in the divisionRelated Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university, or equivalent experienceMust pass State criminal background check and drug screenMust be able to tolerate frequent periods of high stress, heavy workload and multiple priorities. Must be able to hear, see and communicate effectively with participants.Must have active driver's license in good standing and have insurance.
