About this role
Environmental Technician II will be responsible for knowing the location and treatment for inbound waste streams. Environmental Technician II will be able to treat and process waste with onsite equipment. This includes pit mixing, drum pumping, drum dumping, and basic hi-lo and wheel loader skills. Technician must be able to complete required paperwork in accordance with our practices and procedures.
Primary Responsibilities:
Complete required paperwork in accordance with our practices and procedures
Collecting samples of inbound waste for compatibility
Unload bulk liquid trucks to proper tank
Resolve and report issues with inbound loads
Operate hi-lo and end loaders in a safe manner
Have knowledge of our waste streams and their treatment protocol.
Performs other reasonably related duties as assigned by management.
Basic requirements:
High School Diploma preferred2+ years of prior experience working with hazardous materialsAbility to operate equipment, including a forklift and pallet jackAbility to wear company provided personal protection equipment including eye protection, steel toed shoes, hard hat, gloves, Tyvek coveralls, and respiratorHave the ability to read, write and speak in EnglishMust be 18 years of age or olderMust be able to work indoor and outdoor in all weather conditionsPreferred Qualifications:
