We have an immediate opening for a Laser Operator on 2nd shift and 3rd shift at our Huber Heights Ohio facility.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Operate multi-axis Trumpf LasersPerform typical laser cutting and programing operationsSelect proper cutting programs and proper fixturesRead and interpret blueprints, process sketches, and understand measuring instrumentsEdit programs to accomplish offset and part nesting.Maintain inspection equipment and all support equipment necessary to complete jobs on Laser.Perform all daily, weekly and monthly maintenance as required.Create and compile necessary documents to aid setting up laser machineUse precision instruments to check tolerances and quality of partsOther duties, as assigned, or as business needs requireShift hours are as follows;
2nd shift - Monday-Friday 2:40pm to 11:10pm
3rd shift - Sunday-Thursday 10:00pm to 6:30am
High School Diploma or Equivalent preferred3+ year’s laser machining/setup experience on a multi axis laserStrong computer skillsAbility to read and interpret prints
