We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Utility Engineer to join our team in Kuwait. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for overseeing and supervising utility systems for building and infrastructure projects. The ideal candidate will bring a wealth of technical expertise and leadership skills to drive project success and ensure optimal utility system performance.
Lead and supervise utility engineering teams for building and infrastructure projectsDevelop and implement utility system designs, including water, electricity, gas, and telecommunicationsOversee construction and installation of utility systems, ensuring compliance with local codes and regulationsConduct site inspections and quality control checks throughout project lifecycleCollaborate with architects, contractors, and other stakeholders to coordinate utility integrationAnalyze and optimize utility system performance, focusing on energy efficiency and sustainabilityPrepare technical reports, project documentation, and presentations for management and clientsManage project budgets, timelines, and resources related to utility systemsStay current with industry trends, technological advancements, and best practices in utility engineeringMentor junior engineers and provide technical guidance to team members Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related fieldMinimum 15 years of experience and 2 years as Senior Utility Engineer, with a focus on building and infrastructure projectsValid membership with the Kuwait Society Engineers (KSE)Proven track record in construction supervision and project managementProficiency in AutoCAD or similar CAD softwareIn-depth knowledge of building codes, regulations, and industry standards related to utility systemsStrong understanding of energy efficiency and sustainability practices in utility designExcellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with keen attention to detailOutstanding leadership and communication abilities, both written and verbalExperience working in the Middle East, particularly in Kuwait, is a plusAbility to work effectively in a multicultural environment and adapt to local practices
