We're looking for an experienced and detail-oriented BIM Coordinator - Structures to join our dynamic team in Bengaluru, India. In this pivotal role, you will lead and coordinate Building Information Modeling (BIM) processes for structural engineering projects, ensuring efficient and accurate 3D model development, integration, and delivery. You will work collaboratively across disciplines while maintaining the highest standards of quality and innovation in all BIM deliverables.
Lead and coordinate BIM processes for complex structural engineering projects, managing timelines and deliverables with precisionImplement and maintain robust quality control systems for all BIM deliverables, ensuring compliance with project standards and industry best practicesSupervise and mentor a team of BIM professionals, fostering a collaborative and supportive work environment that encourages continuous improvementReview and validate the work of CAD/BIM delivery teams to ensure accuracy, completeness, and adherence to project specificationsParticipate in cross-functional coordination meetings with Architecture, MEP, and Façade teams to resolve design conflicts and optimize project outcomesEstablish and maintain efficient job drawing filing systems and project documentation protocolsCoordinate closely with other disciplines to ensure seamless integration of structural models with other building systemsProvide technical guidance and support to team members on BIM software, tools, and industry best practicesDevelop and contribute to the continuous improvement of company-wide BIM systems, procedures, and standardsEnsure adherence to health and safety, quality, and training policies within the BIM teamStay updated on the latest BIM technologies and methodologies, implementing innovative solutions to enhance project efficiency and team capabilitySet up projects according to client requirements and industry standards, establishing clear BIM execution plans and LOIN matricesManage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining organizational excellence and meeting all project deadlines Bachelor's degree or diploma in Civil Engineering or a related fieldMinimum of 15 years of relevant experience in Structural Engineering Modeling and DetailingExtensive knowledge of Structural Concrete and Structural Steel Modeling and DetailingAdvanced proficiency in 3D modeling and review tools, including Revit Structures, Tekla, AutoCAD, and NavisworksStrong understanding of BIM standards, protocols, and industry best practicesProven experience in project management and team leadership with demonstrated mentoring capabilitiesExcellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across diverse teams and disciplinesAnalytical mindset with a keen eye for detail and strong problem-solving abilitiesExperience in implementing and maintaining quality control systems for BIM projectsFamiliarity with BIM execution plans, LOIN Matrix, MIDP, and other relevant BIM documentationKnowledge of high-rise building systems and mixed-use building structuresAbility to read, interpret, and coordinate multi-disciplinary drawings effectivelyExperience in setting up projects according to client and industry requirementsStrong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneouslyProficiency in Microsoft Office suite and project management toolsKnowledge of health and safety compliance and training protocolsCommitment to continuous learning and staying updated with emerging BIM technologies and methodologiesPreferred: Knowledge of Dynamo and Python programming for advanced BIM automation and customization
