About this role
We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical BIM Technician specializing in Structures to join our team in Bengaluru, India. In this role, you will be responsible for creating and managing Building Information Models (BIM) for structural engineering projects, ensuring efficient and accurate representation of structural elements.
Develop and maintain 3D BIM models for structural engineering projects using Autodesk Revit and other BIM softwareCollaborate with structural engineers to accurately represent structural elements and systems in BIM modelsCreate and manage construction documentation, including drawings and specificationsPerform clash detection and coordinate with other disciplines to resolve conflictsAssist in quantity takeoffs and cost estimations using BIM dataEnsure compliance with building codes, standards, and project requirementsParticipate in project meetings and communicate effectively with team members and clientsStay updated on the latest BIM technologies and best practices in structural engineering Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, or a related field6+ years of experience in BIM for structural engineering projectsProficiency in BIM software, particularly Autodesk Revit and NavisworksStrong knowledge of structural engineering principles and building codesExcellent 3D modeling and drafting skillsExperience with construction documentation and specificationsSolid understanding of structural analysis and design principlesStrong problem-solving abilities and attention to detailExcellent communication and teamwork skillsBIM certification (e.g., Autodesk Certified Professional) preferredFamiliarity with local building codes and standards in India
