We are seeking a Senior BIM Coordinator - Structures to join our growing team in Bengaluru, India. In this role, you will lead the development and coordination of structural Building Information Models (BIM), ensuring seamless integration across all project disciplines. You will be responsible for managing complex structural models, coordinating with multidisciplinary teams, and maintaining the highest standards of accuracy and documentation throughout the project lifecycle.
Develop, manage, and maintain comprehensive structural BIM models using industry-standard software and protocolsConduct clash detection and resolution between structural and MEP systems, documenting findings and coordinating solutions with relevant teamsEstablish and enforce BIM standards, naming conventions, and modeling guidelines for structural elements across projectsCoordinate with architects, MEP engineers, and contractors to ensure structural model accuracy and alignment with project requirementsGenerate technical documentation, construction drawings, and schedules from BIM models for construction teamsPerform quality assurance reviews on structural models to verify compliance with project specifications and building codesManage model coordination meetings, track issues, and implement corrective actions in a timely mannerMentor junior BIM coordinators and support team members in adopting BIM best practicesCollaborate with project managers to ensure BIM deliverables meet contractual obligations and timelinesStay current with BIM standards, emerging technologies, and industry advancements in structural coordination 5+ years of professional experience in BIM coordination, structural engineering, or related rolesAdvanced proficiency in Autodesk Revit (Structure) and Navisworks or equivalent BIM softwareDemonstrated expertise in structural modeling, clash detection, and coordination workflowsStrong knowledge of BIM standards and protocols (ISO 19650 or similar frameworks)Solid understanding of structural engineering principles, building codes, and construction practicesExperience with 3D visualization, rendering, and model presentation techniquesProficiency in project management tools and document control systemsExcellent analytical and problem-solving skills with meticulous attention to detailStrong organizational abilities and capability to manage multiple complex projects simultaneouslyExcellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to coordinate effectively across multidisciplinary teamsExperience in the Indian construction industry or familiarity with local building standards is preferredKnowledge of construction sequencing and scheduling is preferred
