We're looking for an experienced and detail-oriented BIM Lead - Bridges to join our organization in Bengaluru, India. In this pivotal role, you will lead the Building Information Modeling (BIM) strategy and execution for bridge and infrastructure projects. You will be responsible for coordinating BIM workflows, ensuring compliance with industry standards, and driving innovation in our modeling processes. The ideal candidate will combine technical expertise with strong leadership capabilities to mentor teams and deliver high-quality BIM deliverables.
Lead and manage BIM modeling activities for bridge projects, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and adherence to project specificationsDevelop and implement BIM standards, protocols, and best practices across project teamsCoordinate with architects, engineers, and contractors to resolve design conflicts and optimize project workflows through clash detection and analysisCreate and maintain comprehensive 3D BIM models using industry-standard software and toolsMentor and supervise BIM coordinators and modelers, providing technical guidance and performance feedbackAnalyze project requirements and develop detailed BIM execution plans aligned with organizational and client objectivesPrepare technical documentation, including BIM manuals, modeling guidelines, and coordination reportsManage BIM data, ensuring proper organization, version control, and accessibility across project teamsCollaborate with project managers to integrate BIM deliverables into construction sequencing and cost estimation processesStay current with emerging BIM technologies and industry standards, recommending process improvementsConduct quality assurance reviews on BIM models and coordinate with stakeholders to address issues **Required Skills & Experience:**
5+ years of professional experience in BIM modeling and coordination within the AEC industry3+ years of dedicated experience on bridge and infrastructure projectsAdvanced proficiency in Autodesk Revit for 3D modeling and documentationDemonstrated experience in BIM coordination, clash detection, and model managementStrong knowledge of bridge design principles, structural systems, and construction methodologiesProven experience leading and mentoring technical teamsExcellent analytical and problem-solving skills with meticulous attention to detailStrong organizational and project coordination abilitiesProficiency in technical documentation and report generation**Preferred Skills & Experience:**
Experience with Navisworks for model coordination and visualizationKnowledge of Dynamo or other BIM automation toolsFamiliarity with programming or scripting for BIM workflowsExperience with construction sequencing and 4D modelingKnowledge of cost estimation and quantity takeoff processesUnderstanding of BIM standards such as ISO 19650**Domain Expertise:**
