We are seeking a highly skilled Survey Inspector for our Port Project in Kuwait. This role is crucial in ensuring the successful execution of our port construction project through effective project management, construction supervision, and quality control.
Conduct detailed site surveys and inspections throughout all phases of the port construction projectPerform design reviews and provide technical input to optimize project plans and specificationsSupervise construction activities to ensure compliance with project requirements, quality standards, and safety regulationsUtilize advanced survey equipment and techniques to collect and analyze data for project planning and progress monitoringCollaborate with project managers, engineers, and contractors to resolve technical issues and maintain project timelinesPrepare comprehensive inspection reports, including detailed findings, recommendations, and supporting documentationReview and validate contractor's survey data, ensuring accuracy and compliance with project specificationsMonitor and report on project progress, identifying potential risks and proposing mitigation strategiesParticipate in project meetings and provide expert advice on survey-related mattersEnsure adherence to local and international construction codes and regulations throughout the project lifecycle Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related fieldMinimum of 5 years of experience in survey inspection, preferably in port or marine construction projectsProficiency in using advanced survey equipment and techniquesStrong knowledge of construction management principles and practicesExpertise in reading and interpreting technical drawings, specifications, and contract documentsProficient in AutoCAD; knowledge of GIS software is a plusStrong written and verbal communication skillsAbility to work effectively in a multicultural environment and adapt to challenging project conditions
