We are seeking a detail-oriented and professional Plumbing & Fire Fighting Inspector to join our team in Kuwait. In this critical role, you will be responsible for conducting comprehensive inspections of plumbing and fire protection systems to ensure compliance with applicable codes, standards, and regulations. You will play a vital role in safeguarding public safety and maintaining the integrity of building infrastructure across our jurisdiction.
Conduct thorough inspections of plumbing systems, including water supply lines, drainage systems, fixtures, and related components to verify compliance with plumbing codes and standardsInspect fire protection systems, including sprinkler systems, fire alarms, emergency exits, and fire suppression equipment to ensure they meet fire safety regulationsAnalyze inspection findings and identify code violations, safety hazards, or deficiencies that require corrective actionPrepare detailed and accurate inspection reports documenting findings, violations, and recommendations for remediationCommunicate inspection results to property owners, contractors, and facility managers in a professional and clear mannerMaintain organized records of all inspections, test results, and compliance documentationCollaborate with contractors, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure timely resolution of identified issuesStay current with updates to plumbing and fire safety codes, regulations, and industry best practicesTestify in legal proceedings or administrative hearings when necessary regarding inspection findingsPerform follow-up inspections to verify that violations have been corrected and systems are operating safely Comprehensive knowledge of plumbing codes, standards, and best practicesComprehensive knowledge of fire safety codes, regulations, and fire protection systemsProven experience conducting plumbing and/or fire safety inspectionsStrong analytical and problem-solving abilitiesExcellent written and verbal communication skillsProficiency in technical documentation and report writingAbility to work independently and manage multiple inspections efficientlyStrong attention to detail and commitment to accuracyFamiliarity with inspection software and digital documentation toolsKnowledge of local Kuwait building codes and regulationsProfessional certification in plumbing inspection or fire safety inspection (preferred)Experience with fire protection systems, including sprinkler systems and alarm systems (preferred) All your information will be kept confidential according to EEO guidelines.
