We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Depot & Track Equipment professional to join our operations team in Bengaluru, India. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing the maintenance, inspection, and operational management of depot and track equipment. You will ensure all equipment operates efficiently and safely while maintaining comprehensive records and adhering to established protocols and regulatory standards.
Inspect, maintain, and service depot and track equipment to ensure optimal operational performance and safety complianceDiagnose equipment malfunctions and implement timely repairs or coordinate with maintenance teams to resolve issuesMaintain detailed records of equipment maintenance, repairs, inspections, and performance metricsConduct routine equipment checks and preventive maintenance to minimize downtime and extend equipment lifespanEnsure all equipment meets safety standards and regulatory requirements through systematic inspections and documentationManage inventory of spare parts and equipment components, coordinating procurement as neededCollaborate with operations and logistics teams to prioritize maintenance schedules and equipment availabilityTroubleshoot technical issues and provide recommendations for equipment upgrades or replacementsTrain and support team members on proper equipment handling, maintenance procedures, and safety protocolsPrepare comprehensive reports on equipment status, maintenance activities, and operational efficiency Proven experience in depot operations, track equipment maintenance, or similar equipment management rolesStrong technical knowledge of railway or transportation equipment systems and componentsProficiency in equipment maintenance management systems and diagnostic toolsDemonstrated ability to read technical drawings, schematics, and equipment manualsKnowledge of safety protocols, regulatory standards, and compliance requirements in transportation or logistics operationsExcellent organizational and time management skills with ability to prioritize multiple tasksStrong analytical and problem-solving abilities with attention to detailProficiency in inventory management and maintenance tracking softwareAbility to maintain accurate and comprehensive equipment records and documentationStrong communication skills and ability to work effectively with cross-functional teamsMechanical aptitude and hands-on experience with equipment troubleshooting and repair
