We're looking for a detail-oriented and organized Civil CAD Technician specializing in Transportation to join our team in Bengaluru, India. In this role, you will be responsible for creating precise technical drawings, designs, and models for transportation infrastructure projects. You will work collaboratively with civil engineers and project managers to develop comprehensive CAD documentation that meets industry standards and project specifications. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong analytical skills, exceptional attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple projects efficiently.
Develop and prepare detailed CAD drawings and designs for transportation infrastructure projects, including road layouts, traffic management systems, and highway designsInterpret engineering sketches, specifications, and project requirements to create accurate technical documentationUtilize CAD software to model transportation systems and infrastructure components with precision and efficiencyAnalyze project data and design parameters to ensure compliance with transportation engineering standards and regulationsCoordinate with civil engineers and project stakeholders to incorporate design modifications and updates into CAD modelsMaintain organized project files and documentation, ensuring all drawings are properly labeled, versioned, and archivedReview and verify CAD drawings for accuracy, completeness, and adherence to design standards before submissionAssist in preparing project presentations and technical reports that incorporate CAD visualizations and design dataStay current with industry best practices, software updates, and transportation design methodologiesTroubleshoot technical issues related to CAD software and coordinate with IT support when necessary Proficiency in CAD software, including AutoCAD, Civil 3D, or MicroStation2-5 years of professional experience in civil CAD design or transportation engineering projectsStrong knowledge of transportation infrastructure design principles and traffic engineering standardsDemonstrated ability to interpret and create technical drawings, blueprints, and design specificationsSolid understanding of road design, highway layouts, and traffic management systemsExcellent analytical and problem-solving skills with strong attention to detailProficiency in reading and applying design standards and project specificationsAbility to manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining accuracy and meeting deadlinesStrong organizational skills and the ability to maintain comprehensive project documentationFamiliarity with transportation design software and modeling tools (preferred)Knowledge of infrastructure planning and civil engineering principles (preferred)Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively with engineers and project teamsProficiency in Microsoft Office applications for documentation and reporting purposes
