About this role
At Eataly, this role is referred to as a Quick Service Restaurant (QSR) Sales Associate. This person provides exceptional guest service across Eataly’s various QSR counters – serving gelato, pastries, coffee, paninis and other Italian treats. Reports to the General Manager of Quick Service Restaurants.
Provides service across all QSR countersCompletes food preparation assignments neatly, accurately and in a timely mannerSets up stations and replenishes displays neatly including separation of allergens (nuts, wheat, etc.)Ensures all items are dated and following First in First Out (FIFO) standardsPrepares necessary collateral, weighs, labels, packages and serves productsComplies with department policies and quality, health, safety and sanitation standardsOperates a cash register and ensures accuracy of cash drops and authenticity of billsPerforms other duties as required or assigned Outstanding communication and guest service skillsExperience operating a cash register preferredPrior food service experience preferredHigh school diploma or equivalent preferredJob Requirements
Availability to work onsite with a flexible schedule often including evenings, weekends and holidaysAbility to lift up to 50 poundsAbility to exert well-paced mobility for up to 8 hours, including standing, walking, bending and squattingAbility to operate equipment such as manual espresso machine, drink blender, juicer and cash registerCompensation: This position pays a base rate of $17 per hour plus tips.
