Key Responsibilities:
Software Development:
Design, develop, and maintain high-quality software applications using Ruby on Rails.Implement and manage scalable and efficient API infrastructures.Database Management:
Develop, optimize, and maintain database systems using PostgreSQL (PSQL).Ensure data integrity, security, and performance across our database environments.Cloud Services:
Utilize AWS services (such as EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda) to build and maintain cloud-based applications.Optimize cloud infrastructure for cost efficiency and performance.Microservices Development:
Design and develop microservices to ensure a modular and decoupled system architecture.Ensure services are robust, maintainable, and scalable.Additional Skills (Plus):
Knowledge of DNS systems and domain management is a plus, enhancing our ability to deliver comprehensive solutions.Collaboration and Leadership:
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
- Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior engineers.
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.5+ years of experience in software development, with a focus on database systems, cloud services, and web frameworks.Expertise in PostgreSQL (PSQL) and AWS services.Proficiency in Ruby on Rails and experience in building and managing APIs and microservices.Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
