About this role
We're looking for a dedicated and detail-oriented Cleaner to join our team on the overnight shift in Saskatoon, Canada. As an overnight Cleaner, you will play a vital role in maintaining the overall cleanliness and hygiene of our facilities to the highest standards. Working from 11:00 PM to 7:00 AM, you'll ensure that our spaces are spotless, sanitized, and welcoming for everyone who uses them. Operate floor care equipment including scrubbing machines, buffers, and polishers to maintain all facility floors to premium standardsClean and sanitize all areas including washrooms, common spaces, and designated work areas using appropriate cleaning products and techniquesReplenish supplies such as toilet paper, hand towels, hand soap, and other consumables throughout the facilityDust and clean all accessible surfaces including countertops, phone booths, lighting fixtures, window ledges, vents, and pillarsPerform spot cleaning and thorough washing of lobby floors and entrance areas as neededVacuum and maintain entrance mats in lobbies and high-traffic areasEmpty and replace garbage bins and dispose of waste according to facility protocolsCommunicate effectively with supervisors and facility management regarding cleaning needs and any maintenance issuesWork independently while maintaining strong collaboration with team members and other overnight staffFollow all safety and health protocols to ensure a secure work environment Proven floor care experience, including the ability to scrub, buff, and polish floorsDemonstrated experience operating cleaning equipment and machinery safely and effectivelyStrong communication skills and ability to interact professionally with supervisors, clients, and the general publicAbility to work independently while also being a collaborative team playerPositive attitude, strong work ethic, and commitment to quality standardsPhysical capability to lift and carry up to 25 lbs regularlyExcellent time management and punctuality, with reliability for overnight shift workAttention to detail and commitment to maintaining high cleanliness standardsBasic knowledge of safety and health protocols related to cleaning operationsAbility to follow written and verbal instructions and adhere to established proceduresWillingness to learn and adapt to facility-specific cleaning requirementsSecurity clearance may be required depending on facility type and client requirements Dexterra Group is an equal opportunity employer committed to diversity and inclusion.
