About this role
We are looking for an experienced Linux-focused engineer to join our international enterprise application team at T-Systems.
You will work with global customers, supporting business-critical applications in Linux environments, handling troubleshooting, migrations, upgrades, and technical consulting
What you will do
Support and operate enterprise application environmentsTroubleshoot Linux, database, and application issuesPerform migrations, upgrades, and system changesWork with Oracle/PostgreSQL, Apache, SSL/TLS, and SSOCommunicate directly with international customersCollaborate with operations and development teams What we are looking for
Education in Business or IT; having a degree in Business Information Management, Information Technology or at least 2 years of experience as Service or DevOps EngineerStrong Linux administration experience (RHEL / SLES)Shell scripting and SQL knowledgeOracle and/or PostgreSQL experienceGood troubleshooting skillsEnglish AND German communication skills (B2)Nice to have
Apache / TomcatDocker / KubernetesGitBasic Java knowledgeKnowledge of the specific applications is not required — training will be provided.
