A successful fit for this role would be someone with recent experience leading DevOps efforts, proven team lead experience, and great communication skills.
Responsibilities:
Lead all DevOps efforts and manage our current DevOps team.Work directly with Engineers and client to development and implement new end-user solutions that address current business needs.Have a clear understanding of the application development tools with the CICM infrastructure that can help optimize and scale it out accordingly.Lead all efforts to improve processes, solutions, and configuration management.Responsible for application administration activities in support of development, user acceptance test and production systems supporting web-deployed applicationsProvisioning virtual machines using cloud management solutions (VMWare, vCenter, OpenStack, Red Hat, etc.)Monitoring internal and production hosts using Nagios, Cacti, and other application performance monitoring systems.Working with Developers and other Engineers in troubleshooting internal production issues. Performing network and operational tasks in the internal and production systems.Scripting operational tasks for faster and less error-prone execution.Helping maintain and evolve the company’s internal development and quality assurance environments.Working with the Operations and Product Development teams in continually improving the company’s automated software deployment process. Maintaining and evolving the security infrastructure on both internal and production environments.
Necessary Skills:
CM automation experienceDemonstrated proficiency with scripting languages (bash, Perl, Python, Ruby, shell)Linux System Admin experience (preferably RedHat/Centos/Fedora/Ubuntu)Linux OS hardening Demonstrated proficiency with automated configuration management tools (Puppet, Ansible, Chef)Ability to work with agile development teams (e.g. Scrum, Kanban)Proven leadership experience
Requirements:
Bachelor’s Degree in a related field.5+ years of professional experience.Strong client focus, business acumen and results orientation. Disclaimer:
