Responsibilities
Daily operations and hospitality (per Global Experience Standards) Building operations Program execution New hire on-site experience Town hall, all-hands, and future MKO on-site execution Food and beverage program Survey and feedback Stakeholder liaison
Key Competencies
Builds strong relationships with vendors and landlords while holding building and catering partners accountable. Creates thoughtful hospitality and new hire experiences that make day one feel welcoming and personal. Plans events and cultural programming with a strong understanding of the local India context. Brings cultural fluency to India’s festival calendar, including appropriate treats, décor, and celebrations. Knows the Bangalore vendor landscape across catering, AV, event facilitation, wellness, photography, and gaming supplies. Navigates Tablespace or similar workspaces, including service desks, shared amenities, and landlord escalation paths. Executes town halls and all-hands meetings within established playbooks, coordinating AV, catering, run-of-show, and post-event recaps. Collaborates across time zones with LAS HQ while owning routine work independently. Works confidently through ambiguity, knowing when to act independently and when to escalate to the Hiring Manager. Prioritizes multiple demands in a fast-paced, distributed environment. Communicates clearly in writing and conversation, including with senior LAS stakeholders. Uses data to track surveys, SLAs, and budgets in Google Sheets. Works effectively with Google Calendar, Slack, and Jira service desk. Manages budgets for office operations, programming, and projects, tracking variance and allocation against approved budgets.
Experience
2 - 3 years in office experience, workplace operations, hospitality, or administrative support in a corporate or tech environment. Bangalore or India-based corporate office experience strongly preferred. Event planning or coordination experience (internal events, vendor-managed activities, or hospitality). Vendor coordination exposure (catering, building, supplies, AV) preferred. Distributed or multi-site organization experience with HQ in a different time zone. Budget tracking familiarity helpful, not required at hire. Google Workspace, Slack, Confluence, and Jira proficiency preferred; willingness to learn the rest. Professional fluency in English required; conversational comfort in a local Indian language preferred.
