Overview Seeking motivated and experienced Data Center Technicians to support a large-scale data center build in Brownsville, Texas. We are looking to hire cable technicians to assist with low-voltage infrastructure installation in a fast-paced construction environment.This is an excellent opportunity to gain experience on a major data center project while working alongside industry professionals. Technicians should be comfortable working day or night shifts, weekends, and overtime as needed. Responsibilities
• Install, route, and secure CAT5, CAT5e, CAT6, and fiber optic cabling • Perform cable pulling, dressing, labeling, and terminations • Install patch panels, ladder racks, cabinets, and cable management systems • Perform rack-and-stack activities for network and server equipment • Test and troubleshoot copper and fiber cabling infrastructure • Follow project drawings, cable schedules, and installation standards • Maintain quality and safety standards on site • Support ongoing data center construction and infrastructure deployments • Work effectively as part of rotating day and night shift crews Required Qualifications
• Previous low-voltage cabling or data center experience • Experience working with CAT5/CAT6 cabling installations • Ability to use basic hand tools, including punch-down and termination tools • Willingness to work overtime and flexible schedules • Ability to work in a construction or industrial environment • Reliable transportation • Ability to pass a background check and drug screening Preferred Qualifications
• Data center construction experience • Rack-and-stack experience • Fiber optic installation or testing experience • Experience using cable testing equipment • OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 Certification • Scissor Lift Certification • Experience reading blueprints and construction drawings Skills

• 100% onsite in Brownsville, TX • Day and night shifts available • Rotating schedules across a 7-day operation • Significant overtime opportunities • Strict no-phone policy while onsite • PPE required, including hard hat, safety glasses, steel-toe boots, and gloves Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract position based out of Brownsville, TX. Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $20.00 - $35.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
