Job Summary:

Hitachi, Ltd. is seeking an Associate Project Manager to support the successful planning, execution, and closure of projects within our dynamic environment. This role will assist senior project managers in coordinating resources, managing timelines, and ensuring project deliverables meet quality standards and stakeholder expectations.

Job Responsibilities:

Assist in the development of project plans, including scope, objectives, timelines, budgets, and resource allocation. Track project progress, identify potential risks, and propose mitigation strategies to the senior project manager. Coordinate internal resources and third parties/vendors for the flawless execution of projects. Ensure that all projects are delivered on-time, within scope, and within budget. Facilitate communication and collaboration among project team members and stakeholders. Prepare and maintain comprehensive project documentation, reports, and presentations. Support the senior project manager in defining project success criteria and disseminating them to involved parties throughout the project lifecycle. Conduct post-project evaluations and identify lessons learned to improve future project performance.

Job Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field. 1-3 years of experience in project coordination, project support, or a related role, preferably within a technology or industrial sector. Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex information clearly. Proficiency in project management software (e.g., Microsoft Project, Jira, Asana) and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint). Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment. Understanding of basic project management methodologies (e.g., Waterfall, Agile) is a plus. PMP or CAPM certification is desirable but not required.
