Transportation Aide (7.57 hrs per day, 5 days a week) to be assigned to the Transportation Department. The approximate hours for this position will be Monday - Friday 6:10-8:50; 10:30-12:45; 1:50-4:30 (178 days worked plus 8 paid holidays).
Job Description: Monitor and manage student behavior on the school bus. Help with the safe loading, securing, and unloading of passengers. Recognize each contact with the public as an opportunity to promote a positive impression of the school district. Minimum Qualifications include but not limited to: High school diploma or equivalent. Valid State of Ohio educational aide permit. A clear record as determined by the Ohio Bureau of Criminal Identification and Investigation and/or the Federal Bureau of Investigation. Ability to learn skills appropriate for the position. Demonstrated maturity and the ability to work with students and their families.
