Grounds Maintenance Worker – Heritage Gardens A Grounds Maintenance Worker is required to assist with the care and maintenance of the heritage gardens situated within the grounds of a medieval castle. Duties and Responsibilities: Maintenance and upkeep of the gardens, courtyard,surrounding grounds and moat. Grass cutting, strimming, weeding, hedge trimming and pruning. Planting and cultivating herbs, flowers and other garden plants. Assisting with the general presentation and upkeep of the castle grounds. Essential Requirements: An interest in gardening and horticulture. A positive attitude and willingness to work as part of a team. A commitment to participating in relevant training and development. Good timekeeping, reliability and a responsible approach to work. Some weekend work may be required.. CE Scheme Skills
