About this role
We’re seeking an exceptional Commercial Business Partner to join our Colliers Project Leaders team in our Auckland CBD office. This is a strategic, high-impact role focused on partnering across the business to strengthen our commercial and financial capability , transforming data into insights, and insights into action.
Working closely with the Colliers Project Leaders Executive Leadership Team (ELT), you will influence key decisions, support business performance, and contribute to sustainable growth. This role goes beyond traditional finance, positioning you as a trusted commercial advisor who collaborates with stakeholders, drives insight-led thinking, and champions data-driven decision-making.
Key Responsibilities
• Partner with senior leadership to support performance, profitability, and strategic growth
• Deliver commercial modelling, scenario analysis, and forecasting to inform decision-making
• Provide data-driven insights by translating complex financial and operational data into clear, actionable recommendations
• Support business strategy, planning, forecasting, and key growth initiatives
• Contribute to systems, data, and business intelligence improvements, including adoption of new technologies and automation
• Support financial planning, budgeting, and performance monitoring to enable strong commercial outcomes
• Act as a trusted advisor, building strong relationships and influencing stakeholders across the business
• Foster a culture of continuous improvement, innovation, and commercial awareness
The Value You’ll Add
• Experience in a commercial, finance, or business partnering role
• Strong financial modelling and analytical capability
• Experience with business intelligence tools (e.g. Power BI, Tableau)
• Proven ability to influence stakeholders and contribute to decision-making
• A commercial mindset with the ability to translate data into insights
• Interest in technology, innovation, and continuous improvement
• Strong communication skills with the ability to simplify complex information
• A proactive, collaborative approach with a desire to grow and develop
