About this role
As a Senior Software Engineer, you will play a key role in building and improving secure, scalable systems that power healthcare data exchange. You will design and develop cloud-based services that process large volumes of transactions reliably and efficiently. In this role, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams, contribute to technical strategy, and help deliver meaningful solutions that improve how healthcare organizations connect and operate. We welcome candidates from diverse backgrounds who are passionate about creating high-quality, impactful technology. You will report to the Software Development Agile Developer.
Responsibilities
Design and build cloud-based services using modern, scalable architectures such as microservices and event-driven systemsDevelop and maintain high-quality code using C#/.NET with a focus on performance, reliability, and readabilityManage and improve CI/CD pipelines, including automated testing, code reviews, and deploymentsImplement infrastructure as code and monitoring solutions to ensure system health, visibility, and reliabilityPartner with data and AI teams to enhance systems with intelligent automation and anomaly detectionProvide technical guidance, mentor team members, and contribute to design decisions and best practices 5+ years of experience in software engineering, working with distributed systems3+ years of hands-on experience building and managing applications in AWS or similar cloud platformsStrong experience with C#/.NET, including asynchronous programming and performance optimizationFamiliarity with CI/CD tools, version control systems, and infrastructure as code practicesExperience building APIs, working with messaging systems, and using container technologies like DockerUnderstanding of secure coding practices and data protection, especially when working with sensitive information Benefits/Perks:
