Job Summary: We are looking for a skilled MERN developer with 3–5 years of experience in building scalable, high-quality web applications using the MERN stack. The ideal candidate should have strong hands-on experience with MongoDB, React.js, Node.js, TypeScript, GraphQL, and NestJS, along with a solid understanding of software design principles and modern engineering practices. The role involves working independently on software development initiatives, collaborating with cross-functional teams and clients, and contributing to the design, development, testing, deployment, and continuous improvement of applications. Job Responsibilities:
• Develop, enhance, and maintain scalable software applications using the MERN stack, NestJS, and GraphQL. • Work independently with a broader understanding of project objectives, architecture, and business requirements. • Participate in requirements analysis, solution design, development, unit testing, debugging, and documentation. • Write clean, maintainable, scalable, and high-quality code aligned with SOLID principles and established coding standards. • Design and implement APIs using REST and GraphQL. • Work with MongoDB/Mongoose and other SQL/NoSQL databases as required. • Troubleshoot and debug application issues, with guidance from senior team members when required. • Participate in technical discussions with internal teams, partners, and clients. • Follow established development, release, and deployment processes. • Contribute to code reviews, knowledge sharing, and technical documentation. • Mentor and provide technical guidance to junior software engineers. • Participate in training and knowledge-sharing initiatives. • Develop a strong understanding of the company's platform, products, and processes. • Identify opportunities for technical and process improvements and contribute to their implementation. Job Requirements: Must Have:
• 3–5 years of professional software development experience. • Strong hands-on experience with the MERN stack:MongoDBMongooseExpress.jsReact.jsNode.js • Strong experience with TypeScript. • Mandatory hands-on experience with NestJS. • Mandatory hands-on experience with GraphQL, including API development and integration. • Good understanding and practical application of SOLID principles and object-oriented design concepts. • Experience writing effective unit and integration tests. • Experience developing and consuming RESTful APIs. • Basic understanding of microservices architecture. • Knowledge of both NoSQL and SQL databases. • Experience with cloud-based application development and deployment. • Exposure to Docker and containerization. • Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and deployment practices. • Basic awareness of event-driven architecture and Kafka. • Experience with Git and GitHub. • Familiarity with JIRA or similar project-management tools. • Good communication and collaboration skills. • Ability to actively participate in technical discussions and contribute to team decisions. • Positive attitude, willingness to learn, and self-motivated approach. • Experience with Microsoft Azure. • Experience with Serverless architecture. • Experience with Terraform / Infrastructure as Code. • Stronger expertise in MongoDB and database performance optimization. • Experience with Node.js ecosystem and build/development tools such as:BabelWebpackJestESLintHelm • Experience with GraphQL tools/frameworks such as Apollo GraphQL or WunderGraph. • Experience with event-driven systems and Kafka. • Experience with orchestration/automation tools such as n8n. • Experience with application monitoring and troubleshooting using Grafana and Loki. • Exposure to Kubernetes or other container orchestration platforms.
