Summary Job Description: Seasonal Child Development Worker - PRN
Responsible for supervision and planning for a group of children while maintaining a safe and nurturing learning environment in which children can grow physically, emotionally, socially, and cognitively. Job Duties:
• Have knowledge of developmental milestones appropriate for the age group and will effectively assess readiness of children in the class. • Communicate effectively with children, families, and staff. • Collect information to prepare daily lesson plans. • Maintain supplies and materials needed for activities. • Encourage exploration, self-awareness, play based learning, and emotional wellbeing. Requirements:
• High School Diploma/GED • Fifteen (15) hours annual training as approved by Cabinet for Human Resources standard for Childcare Centers to be completed within the first year Preferred Requirements:
