Summary Job Description: Seeking Charge Nurse! Full-Time, three days 8:00a - 8:30p, weekly call requirement and occasional weekend requirement
Baptist Health Floyd, Surgical Services Southern Indiana/Louisville, Kentucky area
General Purpose: Responsible for acting as a resource nurse for the department. This is a front-line leadership position responsible for the coordination of care on designated shifts. He/she will provide leadership to the staff members of the unit in the area of patient care. This position will work alongside the team and provide direct patient care while determining needed staffing fluctuations during shifts, responding to departmental concerns, address immediate staff issues and coordinate patient flow. Qualifications:
• Associate degree in Nursing
• Active RN license in the state of Indiana • BLS for Healthcare Providers required
• ACLS certification
• PALS certification
• One year of nursing experience; One year of nursing experience in area of specialty preferred
