Summary Job Description: Registered Nurse - Float Pool
Part-Time 7p - 7a
The Registered Nurse has the responsibility and accountability for direct comprehensive nursing care for the patient from admission to discharge.
• Reviews and documents care provided, outcomes of care, and evaluations of care. • Applies evidence, professional standards, and best practice to bedside caregiving through critical thinking, experiential evidence, and evidence-based practices.
Requirements:
• Associate of Science in Nursing (ADN) degree from an accredited institution. • Current unrestricted licensure as a Registered Nurse in the state of Kentucky required. • Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) required within 6 months of hire. • Basic Life Support (BLS) required within 90 days of hire. • National Institute of Health Stroke Scale (NIHSS) required within 6 months of hire. • Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) required within 6 months of hire. • One year of Telemetry nursing experience required. • Must obtain Crisis Prevention within 6 months of hire.
Preferred Qualifications:
• Recent experience in specialty preferred. • Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) degree from an accredited institution.
