De positie YER Tech Solutions (TS) is looking for an entrepreneurial Mechanical Engineer who wants to be at the forefront of something new. Your role As Mechanical Engineer, you will be responsible for developing, designing and optimising mechanical products, machines and systems within customer projects. You will translate customer and system requirements into practical, manufacturable and cost-effective mechanical solutions. From concept engineering to detailed design and validation, you will contribute to the successful delivery of innovative engineering projects. While the Systems Engineer defines what the overall system must do and how disciplines interact, you focus on how the mechanical solution is designed, engineered and realised. You will work closely with Systems Engineers, suppliers and other engineering disciplines to ensure robust and high-quality outcomes. Your responsibilities - Translate customer and system requirements into mechanical concepts and detailed designs and describe the project proposal in a Statement of Work - Create and maintain 3D models, drawings and technical documentation - Perform engineering calculations such as statics or dynamics, tolerance analyses and design evaluations - Select materials, components and manufacturing methods - Support prototype development, testing and validation activities - Contribute to manufacturability, assembly and cost optimisation - Collaborate
