As an Aircraft Sheet Metal Worker, you will inspect, repair, and restore aircraft structures, ensuring they return to service safely and in top condition. You'll work with high-quality materials in a precision-driven environment where safety and craftsmanship are key. Experience in aviation is a plus, but not required. Functie What will you do as an Aircraft Sheet Metal Worker? - Assess damage to aircraft components and determine the required repairs; - Perform repair and maintenance work in accordance with approved repair procedures and guidelines; - Replace damaged sheet metal parts and repair damage to aluminum or other aircraft materials using drilling, reaming, countersinking, spot facing, light milling, grinding, sawing, and deburring techniques; - Use sheet metal tools and small machinery to adjust, fit, or restore components; - Work in compliance with strict safety and quality regulations to ensure aircraft are returned to optimal condition; - Collaborate within a professional, international team on a variety of projects.
